Schedule/Deadline Updates

(tonight) March 18th> With this DD Deadline, We need to meet until we resolve things to a good degree. I'd say expect to stick around until about 10pm if you can swing it. We will also pass out self evaluations and instructor evaluations to be turned in this coming Saturday to Charles.

March 21st>, Charles and Pax will be leading the class, and ideally we'll be sewing and cutting and ordering things at that point. We need a joint effort to make Saturday our first productive BUILD day.

March 25th>
We will have a three hour class, with no scheduled meeting on the following Saturday. However, we will have quite a bit of work to do, and it is advised that the design leads manage the work that weekend for our upcoming deadlines....

Upcoming Deadlines:

  • April 1st 6pm - Presentation to BBNA of Green Alley/Green Roof/ UdB Canopy.
  • April 2nd - UNLR Meeting in Roxbury to address dream day and show our work informally
  • April 11th - Dream Day in Roxbury
****Please let us know if you'll be attending the UNLR meeting (informal community meeting setting)

SD Review Material

All, the following PDFs summarize our design work to this point. Students, for Saturday please address the site you did not take on for the review, and feel free to choose to riff on inspiring ideas brought forward in the review. The medium and media can be as you choose, but we need a lively discussion to bring these concepts together in a cohesive product - so come with an opinion and ready to speak up.

Guest reviewers: If you feel comfortable, I'd ask that you form a statement as a comment in the blog. We can discuss more ways in which you may connect more directly with students via skype during a class session at your convenience.
